Answers to the five questions Banting Work Hub customers ask most about booking and using our meeting room under Malaysia’s evolving flexible-work rules.
- The meeting room is offered at a promotional rate of RM15/hour (reduced from RM22/hour) with a 2‑hour minimum booking.
- All meeting-room reservations must be made and paid online via our booking system; walk-ins and offline bookings are not accepted.
- National FWA guidance (Dec 2024) and DOSH’s 2026 OSH guide emphasise employer and provider responsibilities for safe flexible working: this affects how organisations book spaces for hybrid teams.
You need a private room for interviews, client pitches or a focused workshop — fast. Meeting room rental is one of the quickest ways to project professionalism without the long lease. If you’re juggling hybrid schedules or booking under Malaysia’s Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) environment, you probably want clear rules: how to book, how payment and refunds work, what’s allowed inside the room, and whether the space meets safety or accessibility needs. We answer those questions plainly below and point to the specific policies and national guidance that matter when organisations adopt flexible work models.
Meeting room rental: how bookings, payment and refunds work
Our meeting room is bookable only through the online booking system on our website; payment is required at the time of booking to confirm the slot. Minimum booking length is two hours at the current promotional rate of RM15/hour (standard RM22/hour). The online system prevents double bookings by confirming the first successful paid reservation. If payment does not complete, the slot is not reserved.
How do I book the meeting room and what payment methods are accepted?
All meeting-room bookings are made through our online booking system on the Banting Work Hub website. Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm the slot. We do not accept walk-in, phone, WhatsApp or in-person bookings for the meeting room — the online flow prevents double-booking and confirms availability instantly. Visit our site to reserve a slot and complete payment. Book meeting room — Banting Work Hub.
What is the current hourly rate, and is there a minimum booking?
The meeting room promotional rate is RM15 per hour (reduced from RM22/hour). The minimum booking is two consecutive hours. Rates and promotions are displayed in the online booking calendar at the time you reserve — the booking system will show the total charge before you complete payment. Membership does not remove the minimum booking requirement for this room.
What amenities are included and can I bring food, equipment or run hybrid calls?
The meeting room includes fast, high‑speed WiFi suitable for calls and presentations and ergonomic seating. Pantry facilities are available on-site, but outside food is not permitted inside meeting rooms (the pantry is the designated eating area). If you need specific AV equipment or extra chairs, please request these when booking; availability is shown in the booking form. Avoid assuming specialised AV — confirm during booking.
How do I get there, and is the room accessible for people with mobility needs?
Banting Work Hub is on the 2nd floor at B-2-24, Jalan Bunga Pekan 9, Banting Uptown (near the Income Tax Office). Note the premises are on the 2nd floor and do not have lift or wheelchair access — plan accordingly for guests with mobility needs. Our operating hours are Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (access outside hours only by prior approval). Please advise guests about stairs when you book.
What is the cancellation or refund policy if my booking or payment fails?
Payment is required to confirm a booking; if your payment fails, the booking is not completed and the slot remains available. The specific refund terms for meeting-room bookings are not published on the site; we therefore recommend contacting us immediately (WhatsApp or admin email) if you need help with a failed payment or to request a refund. We are not responsible for user errors during the online booking flow, so double-check details before you confirm.

If my company is using FWA policies, should we still use a meeting room at Banting Work Hub?
Yes — many companies adopt a hybrid mix: employees work remotely but meet periodically in professional external rooms for client meetings, interviews, training or workshops. Using an hourly meeting room reduces commute overhead and gives you a controlled environment for confidential conversations. Under FWA, employers should perform simple OSH checks (lighting, seating, network) before sending staff to an external venue. talentcorp.com.my
