Short, practical answers to the meeting-room questions Banting customers ask most — bookings, payment, privacy, accessibility, and what’s included.
- Meeting room is available to members and non-members at the promotional rate RM15/hour (minimum 2 hours); the booking page and rate are current on our website.
- All meeting-room reservations must be made and paid online to confirm a slot — the system prevents overlapping bookings and does not accept walk-ins or offline reservations.
- Malaysia’s Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) Guidelines were launched Dec 5, 2024, strengthening demand for local coworking and short-hour meeting bookings — we align our promos to support FWA adoption.
You want a private, reliable room for a client pitch, interview, or small workshop — and you want to know exactly how to book, how payment and refunds work, and what will actually be waiting for you when you arrive. Meeting room rental is one of the simplest services we offer, but it raises recurring questions: can non-members book? is payment required up front? what about accessibility and privacy of biometric or CCTV data? Below you’ll find short, direct answers you can use to decide and to book with confidence. Where rules or policies matter, we point to the exact page on our site and to relevant Malaysian guidance so you can verify details yourself.
Meeting room rental: what to expect when you book
When you reserve the meeting room you pick a start time, confirm the minimum two-hour block, and complete payment online. The booking system confirms the slot only after payment — that prevents double-booking and keeps things predictable for everyone. The room is set up for focused work: fast Wi‑Fi, power points, and a modest meeting layout suitable for interviews, client meetings, presentations and small workshops.

How to book the meeting room (fast checklist)
1) Go to the Book Meeting Room page. 2) Choose date/time (minimum 2 hours). 3) Pay online to confirm — you’ll receive the booking confirmation once payment completes. If anything fails, contact us immediately via WhatsApp so we can help.
1. How do I book and pay for the meeting room?
All meeting-room bookings are handled exclusively through our online booking system on the website. You select your slot (minimum two hours), pay via the integrated payment gateway, and the system confirms your reservation only after successful payment. Walk-ins, offline bookings, or manual reservations are not supported — the online process is the only way to secure a slot.

2. What is the cancellation or refund policy if my plans change?
Meeting-room payment is taken at booking to confirm the slot. The Terms & Conditions state the booking system handles confirmations and that Banting Work Hub is not responsible for incomplete bookings or failed payments. Because refund terms for meeting rooms are not explicitly published on the booking page, the safest route is to check the Terms and contact admin@bantingworkhub.com or WhatsApp +601110751375 immediately if you need assistance or a possible refund.

3. Who can book the meeting room and what’s included?
The meeting room is open to both members and non-members. Bookings are charged by the hour at the promotional rate (RM15/hour at the time of publication) with a two-hour minimum. The room includes high‑speed Wi‑Fi, power points and a meeting-ready layout suitable for client meetings, interviews, presentations and small workshops. The Daily Pass does not include meeting-room access; you must book the room separately even if you hold a pass.

4. What should I know about access, arrival, and accessibility?
Banting Work Hub is on the 2nd floor of the building and does not have lift or wheelchair access. Please factor this into travel plans. Operating hours are generally 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (closed Sundays). If the door is locked when you arrive, use the WhatsApp number on the website to request entry. Visitors are permitted only with prior approval where required, so confirm any guest arrangements before your booking.
Accessibility notice: the premises currently lack lift access; customers requiring step‑free entry should contact us before booking.

5. How is my personal data handled (fingerprint access, CCTV, payment records)?
Banting Work Hub’s Privacy Policy states we collect only data necessary for service delivery: contact details, booking/payment confirmations, access-control fingerprints (via a third‑party system), and CCTV recordings for security. The policy affirms compliance with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and explains that fingerprint data is processed by the third‑party provider (Banting Work Hub does not directly store biometric templates). If you have PDPA-related requests (access, correction, deletion), contact admin@bantingworkhub.com.
